A Candidates Night for Windham / Willimantic will be held on Monday, October 21, at Windham High School on High Street Willimantic, starting at 7:00 p.m. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Northeast Connecticut and several local voter advocacy organizations, the forum will feature the candidates for local board of education elections as well as the mayoral candidates, incumbent Bottom Liner Ernie Eldridge and Democratic challenger Dawn Niles.
Each candidate will speak for a limited amount of time, and a question-and-answer period will follow, as will refreshments.
