Auditions for "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" The Windham Theatre Guild announces auditions for their December production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
When: Monday, September 30 and Tuesday, October 1 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Windham Middle School Auditorium, Quarry Street, Willimantic
You do not have to be a part of the Children’s Chorus to audition for the show portion. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will be a part of a combined production with the WTG Youth Chorus.
Show dates: December 12-15, 2013
Roles Available: Primary Adult Roles: 1 Female; 1 Male Secondary Adult/Young Adult Roles: 6-7 Female; 1 Male Primary Child/Teen roles (ages 7-17) 5 Female; 4 Male Secondary Child/Teen Roles (Age 5-15) 4-8 Roles available (mix of female-male) Available roles & character descriptions are available at www.windhamtheatreguild.org
Auditions will Consist of : · Readings from script for people auditioning for speaking roles. · Younger Children (pre-readers) will be asked to recite “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” – we will be looking for clarity, projection and character. · Fun movement activities for everyone! Rehearsals will begin the second week of October. Plan on 1-2 nights of rehearsals most weeks.
