Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Mansfield
The National Weather Service says more snow is in the forecast and some dangerous wind gusts this week.

The meteorologists had this forecast exactly right as Connecticut woke up to some snowflakes early Monday just in time for the commute to work. For the remainder of the work week the forecast will divided between a snow chance in northern Connecticut and mainly rain for southern Connecticut.
Once the snow/rain ends by early afternoon Monday, some more precipitation is forecast on Tuesday evening and Wednesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Hartford and Tolland counties for some light snow accumulation Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Dangerous winds are also forecast for this area Friday and Saturday with sustained wind gusts between 30-40 mph.

For southern Connecticut, there are no advisories issued for the rest of the week currently. Any precipitation that may fall Tuesday and Wednesday is expected to be rain and not snow.
WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons said “A messy mix of snow ice and rain coming through early today. Some sun and clouds will mix with wind for the afternoon! High temperatures today will be in the 40s, but feeling like 30s with the wind. Colder weather expected to move in each day through the end of the week.”
