Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Mansfield Thursday

The National Weather Service has just issued an advisory in anticipation of some unsettled weather on Thursday.

The National Weather Service has issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for most of Connecticut for potentially strong storms and heavy rain early Thursday and possibly again later on Thursday too.

The entire state may see thunderstorms and rain but no advisory was issued for New London and Middlesex counties.

The chance of showers and storms could begin in the early morning hours on Thursday and pick up again Thursday afternoon.

For Hartford and Tolland counties the National Weather Service states:

“There is a potential for some strong to severe thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon and evening. Excessive heat is possible Friday as temperatures soar to 90 to 95 degrees combined with high humidity.”
