At 3:32 p.m., state police were called to the UConn Co-op Bookstore for a reported larceny that took place the day before. Several books valued at $956 were taken, state police said. The books were recovered and a suspect has been identified, state police said.

Michael Bezrulczyk, 33, of 26 Dale Road, Enfield, was charged with evading reponsibility, driving under the influence and a lane violation after his car collided with a utility pole at 2:29 a.m., state police said.

Michael Ellis, 45, of 102 Luchon Road, Willington, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and third-degree sexual assault after police received a call about an active domestic disturbance at 1:03 a.m.
April 4
James Pavliscsak, 37, of 10 Broad Oak Road, Ashford, was charged with breach of peace, violating a protective order and third-degree assault after a disturbance at the Dollar General parking lot on Middle Turnpike at 10:55 a.m., state police said.
