May 28

MANSFIELD, CT - Daniel Nevins, 26, of 560 Chaffeeville Road was charged with disorderly conduct at 9:44 p.m., state police said. Troopers were called to Baxter Road for an active disturbance in which a drunken Nevins was throwing objects around a residence.

A resident fled the dwelling and called state police, according to an arrest report. He had broken several things in the residence, state police said.

Anthony Duclos, 20, of 48 Circle Drive, was charged with evading responsibility and traveling too fast for conditions, state police said. The incident began with a motor vehicle crash a 7:57 p.m. on Crane Hill Road, state police said. Duclose tried to flee the scene by driving down a logging road and damaged his car, state police said. He was eventually tracked down, an arrest report indicates.

In a separate report, he was charged with interfering, following too closely, passing on the right, reckless driving and an insurance violation, state police said.

UNION, CT - A South Windsor man is facing a pair of criminal charges - including assault - after a disturbance at Bigelow Hollow State Park over the Memorial Day weekend, state police said.

The incident at the park was a domestic dispute on Sunday, state police said.

Ryan Draeger, 21, of 510 Mill Pond Drive, South Windsor, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, state police said.

The fracas took place at 7:03 p.m., state police said.

WILLINGTON, CT - Cindy Farquhar, 50, of 44 Rabbit Trail, Coventry, was charged with driving under the influence, failure to drive right and possession of a controlled substance after nearly hitting a tree and motorcyclist state police said.

The incidenbt was on River Road, state police said.

May 31

ELLINGTON, CT - An Ellington Man was charged with putting someone in a choke hold during an incident at a local gas station.

Devin Mullen, 28, of 294 Jobs Hill Road, was charged with second-degree strangulation, second-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree assault and threatening, state police said.

The incident took place at 7:52 p.m. at the Valero station, 1 Main St., state police said.

June 1

At 5:22 a.m., Jeremiah Chopus, 34, of 593 Warrenville Road, Mansfield, was found asleep on the front lawn of an Old Kent Road home behind the wheel of a car, state police said.

He was charged with driving under the influence, state police said.
