Man Wearing Shirt Of UConn Rival Arrested After Mansfield Burglary
A man went on a theft spree Sunday in Mansfield, state police said.

MANSFIELD, CT — It wasn't hard to find a burglary suspect in Mansfield Sunday. He was wearing the NBA jersey of a heated UConn rival, state police said.
The incident took place at 1:45 p.m., state police said.
Troopers were dispatched to an active burglary along the 300 block of North Eagleville Road. A man wearing a Philadelphia 7ers "Allen Iverson" jersey had broken into a shed and took headphones and a bicycle and stole mail from several boxes along the road, troopers were told.

The suspect, a 21-year-old from Wallingford, was then spotted on a bicycle on Stafford Road and taken into custody, according to an arrest report.
He was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, sixth-degree larceny and second degree breach of peace, according to an arrest report. He posted a $5,000 bond and is due in Rockville Superior Court on NOv 8, records show.

Iverson was a rival UConn when he played collegiately at Georgetown.
