Mansfield Sewer Bond Squeaks Through to Approval in Tuesday's Election

Voters approved the bond measure with just an 80-vote margin, and Democratic candidates fared well in Mansfield voting on Tuesday.

By a thin margin of just 80 votes, Manchester voters gave thumbs up to the $9 million sanitary sewer project and mostly supported Democratic candidates in Tuesday’s election.

The project was approved with 2,742 votes in support and 2,662 opposed.

A total of 5,636 voters went to the polls out of 11,357 registered voters in town, and another 290 cast absentee ballots.
