Mansfield Traffic Alert: Paving on Route 44
Drivers can expect delays this week; Here are the details.
The Connecticut Water company has announced that the final paving of the trench excavated for the installation of water main along Route 44 between Jensen’s Rolling Hills Community and the Route 195 intersection is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 19.
There will be travel lane closures related with this work and motorists should plan accordingly.
The work hours are between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The paving work will bring the area of the excavation up to the current grade of the road.
