Mansfield Traffic Alert: Trench Paving Starts on Route 195

Driving on Route 195 in the area of the Four Corners probably will take more time than usual in coming weeks.

Starting Thursday, Oct. 8, final paving of the water main trench will begin between St. Paul’s Church and Mansfield Supply with initial paving starting in the area north of the Four Corners/ Route 44 intersection.

Connecticut Water said it anticipates it will be mid-November before trench paving is completed.

Crews paving will require periodic lane closures between 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If travelling in the area, please anticipate some delay during these times.
