A lot of people have barbecues planned with family and friends this Memorial Day weekend, and many others plan to attend ceremonies and parades honoring those who died while serving in the countryβs armed forces.
Itβs clear from the latest National Weather Service forecast that Sunday is the best day to have outdoor plans as temperatures around Connecticut will be in the low to mid 70s and skies will be sunny.
Saturday shouldnβt bad either, just a bit chillier with temperatures in the mid to high 60s with plenty of sun.

Earlier this week, thunderstorms and showers were forecast for Memorial Day itself, which is when numerous ceremonies and parades are scheduled.
The good news is, it appears the showers will hold off until Monday evening, and while it will be mostly cloudy there shouldnβt be any rain during the day. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s on Monday.
