McDonald's Staffer Gets Takeout From Cash Register In Mansfield: Cops

MANSFIELD, CT — A an employee of a McDonald's in Mansfield helped herself to a little more than a Big Mac and fries and is facing a criminal charge as a result, state police said.

The McDonald's is located at 118 Storrs Road.

According to an arrest report, the theft was reported at 12:52 p.m. on Wednesday. Troopers were told that an employee had taken money out of a cash register. The employee, 22-year-old from Windham, was located about 30 minutes later and taken into custody, according to an arrest report. The report did not disclose how much was taken.

The staffer was charged with sixth-degree larceny, according to an arrest report.
