• Courtney Touting $13.6 Million Navy Contract For UConn Undersea Technology Research (patch.com) — Mansfield residents will see UConn's Storrs campus play a central role in a new $13.6 million U.S. Navy contract to advance undersea vehicle technology. The funding, championed by Rep. Joe Courtney, will support 20 research projects through UConn's partnership with the University of Rhode Island and strengthen ties with Electric Boat and the Navy's submarine programs through 2031.
