Poetic Release: Poetry Slam featuring Mike Rosen
Monday, October 13th, 2014 at 7pm; UConn Co-op Bookstore at Storrs Center
Mike Rosen is an award-winning poet and community organizer. He was named Best Male Poet at the 2011 Wade-Lewis Poetry Slam Invitational and led Wesleyan University’s slam poetry team to 7th in the nation and the Spirit of the Slam Award at the 2011 College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational. Mike was also a finalist at the Rustbelt Regional Poetry Slam in 2012 and a member of the legendary Spoken Word Almanac Project in New York City.
