
MANSFIELD, CT - State police are saying to watch out for car thieves.
Over the past few days, the Mansfield Resident State Trooper’s Office, the University of Connecticut Police Department and the Willimantic Police Department have experienced an increase in stolen motor vehicle reports, law enforcement officials said.
In most of these cases the vehicles being stolen have been left unlocked and the keys left inside, police said.

Police are recommending that residents lock all car doors and secure your keys inside their homes.
