Police Search for Missing Mansfield Man(nequin)
It's a case of the 'missing mannequin' for Connecticut State Police.

It could be a title for novelist Sue Grafton whose niche was writing the popular ‘alphabet series’ of mystery novels.
Instead of ‘A Is for Alibi’ or ‘C Is for Corpse,’ perhaps the author could take a page from a Connecticut State Police report for a tome titled ‘M Is for Missing Mannequin.’
It seems that someone swiped a mannequin that was part of a unique bicycle-lawn mower yard creation that decorated a Middle Turnpike yard in Mansfield Depot.

The owner told state police, “Someone entered his front yard sometime between the hours of 02:00 and 09:10 hours (on Aug. 24) and stole a life-sized male mannequin that was seated on a bicycle,” according to the police report. Instead of a front tire, there is an old-fashioned push mower attached to the bicycle.
The mannequin was described as “wearing white shorts, a dark blue tank top and a German Army style bicycle helmet,” according to the report.

Police say they don’t have any leads in the case and ask if anyone has any information on the whereabouts of the mannequin to call Trooper Christopher Church at 860-896-3200.
