Report: Death of UConn Student Ruled Accident, Caused by False Alarm

WEST HARTFORD, CT – New information has been released regarding the circumstances of UConn student Jeffny Pally’s death this weekend.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said Wednesday that the 19-year old’s death was ruled an accident, the Hartford Courant reported. The cause of death was also determined to be blunt trauma to the head and torso.
Additional investigation has found the call that resulted in the truck’s response was a false alarm, according to the Hartford Courant. It has yet to be determined if activation of the alarm resulted from a malfunction.
