Second Person Arrested in Mansfield Storage Skimming Case
State police have arrested a second person in a business theft case.

MANSFIELD, CT — State police have made a second arrest in a case of a manager allegedly filtering payments to himself while working at the office manager at a Mansfield storage company, according to a warrant.
Melissa Burton, 26, of Bristol, was charged with first-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, according to a warrant. She was arrested on March 25, posted a $10,000 bond and is due in court on April 9, according to a warrant.
Burton is accused of providing bank accounts for deposits in the scheme, according to a warrant.

The manager, Dennyson Ramoutar, 35, of Willimantic, was arrested on March 15 and charged with two counts of first-degree larceny, state police said.
According to a warrant, Ramoutar is accused of skimming about $50,000 from Mansfield Self Storage on Stafford Road. He is suspected of taking payments for storage units with a cell phone application, according to a warrant.
