State Police: Mansfield Man Spits On Trooper, Threatens to Stab Other Troopers
He is facing a number of charges.

MANSFIELD, CT - A 21-year-old is due in court on May 24 aftering being charged with assaulting an officer after he scuffled with state troopers on Hunting Lodge Road, state police said.
Rashawn Hernandez, of 153 Hunting Lodge Road, was charged with assaulting an officer, interfering, threatening and disorderly conduct after the Friday incident, state police said.
Police were summoned to his residence at 18:54 for a disturbance, according to an arrest report. Once troopers arrived, they were attacked by Hernandez, who threatened to stab troopers and spit and kicked one of them, according to an arrest report.

He posted a $5,000 bond, state police said.
