State Police Seeking Knife-Wielding Robber

State police detectives at Troop C in Tolland are investigating an armed robbery at the Ashford Cumberland Farms at 33 Pompey Hollow Road, also known as Route 44, which occurred Sunday night.

At approximately 11:10 p.m., the white male suspect in this image robbed the clerk at knife point. An undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes were taken.

The clerk suffered a very minor, superficial injury from contact with the knife.

Following the robbery, the suspect headed east on Route 44 in an older, silver four-door sedan.
