Stolen Gun Recovered After Incident In Mansfield
A gun was confiscated after a stop in Mansfield.

MANSFIELD, CT β A track on a suspicious car turned into a stolen gun arrest in Mansfield, state police said.
State police released details of the Aug. 21 incident this week.
At 6:13 p.m. that day, a Mansfield Resident Trooper noticed a Kia Optima pul into the Ultra Mart at 7 Storrs Road, according to an arrest report. The trooper then noticed a man go in and out of the store several times, according to an arrest report.

A woman then came to the vehicle from Foster drive, sat in the car and the man left on foot, according to an arrest report.
The trooper noticed several motor vehicle violations associated with the car and stopped the man, later identified as Joseph Buskey, 23, of Windham, an arrest report indicates. A loaded .380-cal. pistol was taken from him, police said.

He was charged with an insurance violation, driving while under suspension, an auto tint violation, interfering with police, stealing a firearm and criminal possession of a pistol.
He was released on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court on Aug. 30.
