Hazel Nancy Thompson, 92, of Green Hill Beach, RI, formerly of Storrs, died Thursday, January 19, 2017. She was the daughter of Elliott Beebe and Annette (St. Germain) Beebe.
She was the devoted wife of Royal Thompson for 68 years who predeceased her in 2013. Hazel was born in Willimantic, and spent the last 40 years in Green Hill, Rhode Island.
She leaves behind her daughter JoAnn Thompson, her husband Edward Zelonis; her two granddaughters Karen Lynn Keating and her husband Greg and Susan Ann Wertheim and her husband Charlie; five great grandchildren, Sydney, Connor, Morgan, Anna and Taylor.

A graveside service will be held at the Pink Ravine Cemetery, Junction of Bone Mill Road and Ravine Road in Storrs on January 25, 2017 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org.
