Storrs Obituary: Mary Courtemanche-Kelley, 61

Mary B. Courtemanche-Kelley, born February 3rd 1956, unexpectedly passed away on March 5th 2017, at Middlesex Hospital. She was the daughter of the late, Roger Sr. & Ida Courtemanche.

She was also the beloved wife of 27 years, to David M. Kelley, mother to her 4 children; Jeremy J. Rice (33); Jamie L. Rice (31); Brooke L. Kelley, and Brittany L. Kelley (both (24); and the adored meme´ of her first and only grandson, Keegan D. Trueman (3). She was also the beloved sister of 6, brothers and sisters; Gene Courtemanche; Ann Carmody; Katherine Gagnon; Roger Courtemanche; Terri Valente; and the late, Dawn Courtemanche. She also leaves behind many other nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.

Mary was full of life, love, and laughter. She worked very hard in life to make the best of everything. She loved cracking jokes, to hear the laughter of her friends and family. She loved doing arts and crafts, like painting; making beautiful wreaths; hats; and other home décor. She absolutely beamed when her grandson made his way into this world, and from that point on, they were inseparable. They spent their time building robots out of blocks; reading; practicing their ABC's; coloring; eating yogurt; and watching cartoons.

She loved her children and the fun things they used to do, like; sledding and ice skating in the winter; riding bikes in the summer; going roller-skating; carving pumpkins, and baking the seeds on Halloween; going apple, blueberry, and strawberry picking; these are just a few of the many things she did with her children. She will be missed deeply. May she rest in peace.
