Storrs Obituary: Steven Hepple, 64

Condolences to his family and friends.

Steven J. Hepple (January 31, 1953- October 12, 2017) died peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a long and courageous battle with a rare neurological disease.

Steve grew up in Newington; he graduated from Newington High School in 1972 and attended Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. He lived in Storrs, for many years with his family before moving back to Newington.

Steve worked as a claims adjuster in the insurance and personal injury fields in the greater New Haven area and was known for his quick wit, integrity, and diligent work ethic. Throughout his life, he was an avid sports enthusiast who played football and basketball and who especially loved to follow his teams – the New York Jets and the New York Yankees.
