Kristi Petersen Schoonover’s novel, Bad Apple, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her short fiction has appeared in countless magazines and anthologies; she has received three Norman Mailer Writers Colony Residencies, serves as a judge for New York City Midnight's short story and flash competitions, and is a co-founding editor at Read Short Fiction. For the past fifteen years, she has presented workshops on the submissions process at many venues, among them Burlington College and Goddard College, and to several writers’ groups.
The Submissions Mastery Workshop will be held Sunday, March 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Books and Boos bookstore at 514 Westchester Road in Colchester, CT. The $25 cost for the program includes donuts and coffee in the morning, lunch, and take-away materials.
