Thanksgiving Incident At Mansfield Building Lands 2 With Charges
Two people were arrested after being caught at an abandoned building in Mansfield.

MANSFIELD, CT — State police have arrested two on several charges each after an incident at an abandoned building in Mansfield.
The incident took place at 4:40 p.m. on Thanksgiving at 661 Middle Turnpike, which state police described as an "abandoned" property.
Police were called to the parcel to investigate a suspicious vehicle and discovered two Putnam residents at the rear of the building. Both were arrested, state police said.

Travis Steele, 33, was charged with:
- The use of drug paraphernalia
- Third-degree burglary
- Possession of burglar tools
- Third-degree criminal mischief
- Criminal impersonation
- Interfering with police
- Assault on a public safety officer
