Hugh Blumenfeld with The Faithful Sky, plus The Long River Band perform original and popular contemporary folk-style music in the beautiful Breadbox Theater sanctuary of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Hugh is a New York City born singer-songwriter who has made his home in eastern Connecticut. Hugh has toured the United States and Europe with his songs that range from romantic ballads to biting satire. Opening up for Hugh will be local favorites, The Long River Band; a collaboration of Mansfield musicians Dudley Hamlin and Mike South, Coventry natives Jeff Lorello and Brian Bynes, plus Boyd Wood of Willington. The band performs an eclectic repertoire of contemporary and traditional folk music with strong vocals and a variety of styles in the acoustic tradition. Concert proceeds benefit the Covenant Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry.
