Based on the famous Andersen fairytale, "The Snow Queen: A Winter’s Tale" centers on the struggle between good and evil as the close friendship of two children is tested by supernatural powers. Katie and Gerda are best friends, but unbeknownst to them, that friendship has angered the bitter, heartless Snow Queen. When the queen’s magic mirror is shattered, shards land in Katie’s eye and heart, causing her to forget her best friend. The Snow Queen whisks Katie away to her icy castle. Determined to rescue her friend, Gerda sets off on a magical journey, meeting many new friends and challenges along the way. In the end, Gerda’s quest proves that love conquers all.
