ELLINGTON, CT β€” Conor Thomas, 36, of Griswold Road, Ellington, was charged with disorderly conduct after a disturbance, according to an arrest report. The incident was at a Griswold Road residence at 11:05 p.m., state police said.

MANSFIELD, CT β€” Alejandro Quiroz, 25, of Windham,was charged with driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle without an ignition device, failure to drive in the proper lane and and making restricted turns on Route 44, according to an arrest report. He was stopped by state police at 12:58, according to an arrest report.

WILLINGTON, CT β€” Thieves stole a silver dollar coin collection in an afternoon break-in, state police said. The crime took place between Nov. 21 and 23 on Glass Factory Road, state police said. The bandits entered the building through a bathroom window and took $75 in cash in addition the coin collection, state police said. Anyone who may have witnessed suspicions activity in the area can call state police at 860-896-3200.

MANSFIELD, CT β€” A Willimantic man was charged with sixth-degree larceny for a theft at Kohl's at the Eastbrook Mall, according to an arrest report. Julio Cruz, 27, failed to post a $1,000 bond and was held until a Monday court appearance, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT β€” A slow driver caught the attention of state police patrolling the westbound side of Interstate-84 and he was subsequently charged, according to an arrest report. Geno McMahon, 31, of East Hartford, was charged with driving too slow, driving under the influence and lane violations at 12:16 p.m., according to an arrest report.

WILLINGTON, CT β€” State police found a Massachusetts man asleep in a car on the eastbound shoulder of Interstate-84 and he was charged with drunken driving as a result, an arrest report indicates. It took a trooper a full minute to wake up 24-year-old Jacob Rizza and he then failed a series of sobriety tests, according to an arrest report.
