Route 275 remains closed Tuesday afternoon at the Coventry town line, because of an accident involving a box truck hitting a bridge, according to reports.
A rental box truck reported slammed into the low New England Central Railroad Bridge over Route 275 about 10:20 a.m. according to WTIC.
Shortly before 2 p.m., the Connecticut Department of Transportation reported the road was still closed and it could take up to two hours to clear the scene.
