Two-Car Collision in Mansfield Results in Helicopter Airlift to Hospital

A two-car crash near the intersection of Mansfield Avenue and Pleasant Valley Road early Monday evening had authorities call in a Lifestar helicopter to deliver at least one victim to Windham Hospital, according to the NBC Connecticut TV website.

The collision occurred at about 6:20 p.m. Monday. State police were at the scene, the television station’s website reported.
