UConn Cornerback Is Drafted by Dallas Cowboys
Byron Jones is drafted in the NFL's first round.
UConn cornerback Byron Jones has been drafted by the Dallas Cowboys as the 27th pick in the first round of the NFL draft Thursday night.
Jones played the seven games of the 2014 season before a shoulder injury sidelined him for the rest of the year, according to NBC Connecticut. He had eight career interceptions at UConn.
