UPDATE: UConn Police Alert Campus About Odd Burglary of Dorm Room
University of Connecticut police say a burglar entered a dorm room through a first floor window.

Update, 5:03 p.m.:
Someone climbed through a first-floor window at the Towers Residential Hall, after removing an air conditioner from it, UConn police said, according to a report on WFSB-TV.
Although rooms were ransacked in the three-bedroom unit with a common area, but nothing seems to have been taken. Police are asking students to make sure windows and doors are locked.

A residence director noticed the air conditioner had come off the window sill — the first indication anyone had that something was wrong. None of the students sleeping in the unit were woken up.

A dorm room at the Towers Residential Hall Complex on the UConn-Storrs campus was entered by someone through a first-floor window, but no items were taken, University of Connecticut police announced, according to a report on WFSB-TV.
No one reported seeing the burglar either, and no suspects have been identified, according to the report.
