UConn Police: Bomb Threat Not Credible
The campus resumed normal operations at 11:47 a.m.

University of Connecticut Police have determined a bomb threat called in Monday morning wasnβt credible.
The call came in at 10:55 a.m. Monday to The Tasker Building, according to a UConn news release. The Tasker Building, which is the schoolβs admissions building, was evacuated.
The campus resumed normal operations at 11:47 a.m., and UConn police are investigating the source of the threat.
A Facebook post at 11:14 a.m. on the UConn Transportation Services page said UConn buses and AVS vans were brought back to transportation or were sheltering in place, but a comment added to the post at 11:48 a.m. said buses and AVS vans were resuming service.
The university is looking for information about this incident, and anyone who has witnessed suspicious activity or knows anything about the threat should contact University Police at (860) 486-4800.
