UConn Police: Bomb Threat Not Credible

University of Connecticut Police have determined a bomb threat called in Monday morning wasn’t credible.

The call came in at 10:55 a.m. Monday to The Tasker Building, according to a UConn news release. The Tasker Building, which is the school’s admissions building, was evacuated.

The campus resumed normal operations at 11:47 a.m., and UConn police are investigating the source of the threat.

A Facebook post at 11:14 a.m. on the UConn Transportation Services page said UConn buses and AVS vans were brought back to transportation or were sheltering in place, but a comment added to the post at 11:48 a.m. said buses and AVS vans were resuming service.
