UConn Police: Milford Teen Charged After Scooping Up Woman

He tried to carry her away after an argument, UConn police said,

STORRS, CT - A Milford man is facing criminal charges after an altercation with a woman on the University of Connecticut Campus, according to an arrest report.

Andrew Nolan, 19, of 180 Gulf St., Milford, was observed by UConn Police on a North Eagleville Road sidewalk arguing with a group of individuals, according to an arrest report. UConn police stopped to speak with the parties and were told by witnesses that Nolan had attempted to repeatedly restrain a female who was walking ahead of the group, according to an arrest report.

Witnesses told police that Nolan restrained the woman, thew her over his shoulder and attempt to carry her away, according to a report.

Witnesses told police the woman repeatedly told Nolan to leave her along, according to a report. they were. The female was later found to be in a dating relationship with Nolan, police said.

Nolan was charged with breach of peace and reckless endangerment, both in the second degree, police said.
