UConn Police: Suffield Man Threw Can At Building During Party

He was charged with reckless endangerment, police said.

STORRS, CT - A Suffield man has a date in court to explain why he thew a beer can at a University of Connecticut building during a party, UConn police said.

On April 9, UConn Police were monitoring a party taking place at Celeron Square with about 1,500 "young adults" attending, according to an arrest report.

UConn police saw a male, who was standing outside the back entrance of the Stallman Building, throw a beer can toward the building, according to an arrest report.

The can hit the building, just missing an open window with people insiide the building, UConn police said.

The male was later as Daniel Fleming, 20, of 761 East St., Suffield. He is not a student at UConn, according to an arrest report.

Fleming was placed under arrest for second-degree reckless endangerment, UConn police said.
