UConn's Auriemma Back at Home After Timeout In Hospital
He was released Tuesday, the university said.
STORRS, CT - University of Connecticut women’s basketball coach Geno Auriemma returned home from an area hospital on Tuesday morning after spending parts of four days battling an undisclosed illness, UConn spokesman Pat McKenna said.
"He is feeling better and enjoying some time with his family," McKenna said. "Coach Auriemma and his family wish to express their appreciation and gratitude to everyone for their thoughts and prayers."
In an effort to respect the Auriemma family’s privacy, UConn will have no further comment, he said.
