MANSFIELD, CT β€” A 20-year-old is facing drunken driving charges after a stop in Mansfield over the weekend, state police said.

At 8:23 p.m. Saturday, state police intercepted a "suspicious" vehicle on Browns road, according to an arrest report. The driver, from Middletown, was suspected of being under the influence and arrested, state police said.

He was charged with having a blood alcohol level of .02 or more while younger than 21.

He was also charged with second-degree forgery, according to an arrest report.
