What's Open or Closed in Mansfield for Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday
Some state and local services may be closed for the Jan. 19 holiday.
In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 19, the Town of Mansfield has announced the following schedule changes for Town facilities:
- Town Hall: Closed on Monday, Jan. 19
- Animal Shelter: Closed on Monday, Jan. 19 (available for emergencies only)
- Community Center: No change to regular hours (5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.)
- Library: Closed on Monday, Jan. 19
- Refuse Pick Up: Regular schedule on Monday, Jan. 19
- Senior Center: Closed on Monday, Jan. 19
- Transfer Station: Closed on Monday, Jan. 19
- Transportation Center: Open on Monday, Jan. 19
- Mansfield Public Schools are closed Monday.
CT DMV
Department of Motor Vehicles major customer service offices will close for the Martin Luther King Day holiday on Friday, Jan. 16, at 12:30 p.m. and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 7:45 a.m.

Major DMV service offices will be open on Thursday until 5:30 p.m. All AAA offices will be open to process renewals for driver licenses and non-driver ID cards during their normal business hours.

Stock Markets
The stock markets will be closed.
Postal Service
There is no mail delivery and post offices are closed.
