Willington Teen Charged In E.O. Smith Car Vandalism Incident
A teen has been charged after an E.O. Smith administrator's car was damaged, state police said.

STORRS, CT β A Willington teen is facing a pair of criminal charges after an administrator's car was vandalized at E.O. Smith High School, state police said.
According to a warrant for the teen's arrest, the school's administration reported an incident about a damaged vehicle in the parking lot on Aug. 22. The teen who was eventually arrested was spotted on surveillance cameras walking alongside the vehicle and scratching the paint with "a sharp instrument," according to a warrant.
Nearly the entire driver's side of the vehicle was scratched up, according to a warrant.

The teen had an active no trespassing order for the campus, according to a warrant.
The teen was tracked down at his Willington residence and said the administrator "had it out for him since day 1 at the school," according to a warrant. He was served the warrant on Feb. 19 and charged with first-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, state police said.

The damage totaled $3,059.69, according to a warrant.
