Woman Accused Of Shoplifting With Children In Mansfield: Cops

A woman is accused of shoplifting with kids at a Mansfield store.

MANSFIELD, CT — A woman is due in court on Dec. 10 to face a pair of criminal charges from a warrant accusing her of shoplifting at a supermarket with her children.

According to a warrant, she was caught in the act at the Manchester Big Y, but a state trooper felt sorry for the crying kids that they arrested 42-year-old Lynn Daros via a warrant rather than in front of everyone.

According to a warrant, the incident took place on Oct. 14. Big Y employees had Daros and three children detained after Daros paid for a 2 gallons of milk and a 12-pack of soda, but tried to conceal and steal several others.

She tried to take 19 items in all, valued at $82.76, according to a warrant.

According to a warrant, among the antics inside the store were hiding baby wipes in a personal bag and a child ripping a sippy cup out of its packaging and handing it to a baby.
