2 Fire Lieutenants Retiring After Decades of Service
Danny Torres and Mike Fisette have been with the department for a combined 60 years.
MERIDEN, CT - Fire lieutenants Danny Torres and Mike Fisette are leaving a big hole in the department with their retirement - the duo has served for a combined 60 years, according to the Meriden Record-Journal. Fisette said that while he doesn't want to leave after 31 years in Meriden, being a firefighter is a "younger person's job."
