2 Meriden Residents Injured in I-91 Crash
The accident, which occurred in Wallingford early Sunday, resulted in four injuries.

Four people were hospitalized in a crash that occurred Sunday morning on Interstate 91 in Wallingford.
State Police say Alberto Torres-Aguilar, 25, of Meriden’s vehicle hit a car from behind near Exit 16 before 6 a.m., NBC Connecticut reports.

Both Torres-Aguilar and his passenger Tony Perez-Silva, 25, of Meriden, and the driver of the car struck, Courtland V. Wright, 28, of Manchester, were all hospitalized, NBC reports.
Wright’s passenger, Pearl A. Locket, 25, of Hartford, was flown via helicopter to Hartford Hospital. Both Wright and Locket suffered serious injuries.

The accident remains under investigation. The highway reopened late Sunday morning.
