2nd Annual Loredana Nesci Memorial Run Set for October in Meriden

Attorney Loredana Nesci, a Meriden native, was killed by her live-in boyfriend during a domestic disturbance in California in July 2015.

MERIDEN, CT — The second Annual Loredana Nesci Memorial Run is scheduled for Oct. 23 at Hubbard Park in Meriden, organizers announced.

Nesci, a Meriden native, reality TV star and attorney, was killed in July 2015 in California by her live-in boyfriend during a domestic disturbance. She left behind a young son, Rocco, who is being cared for by family in Meriden.

"This race is to help keep her memory alive and to promote healthy relationships, safe families, and violence-free communities," wrote Nesci's brother, Meriden Police Det. Robert Nesci, in a statement. "The proceeds will benefit Rocco’s education fund and the Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis."

Registration for the 10 a.m. run (5K, 10K or walk) starts at 8:30 a.m. on the 23rd. Pre-run registration costs $25, and $30 on the day of the run. For more information, click here to visit the event's website.
