The Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications until Jan. 20 for the Sanford S. Shorr Education Awards Program: You can download an application here.
The application deadline is January 20, 2012. Several $1,000 awards are offered to students who are continuing their education past high school. The application explains more of the requirements.
