STORM DEBRIS AND LEAF COLLECTION

From The City of Meriden's Public Works Department:

The City of Meriden started collecting storm debris immediately after Storm Albert (October nor’easter) struck the City the weekend of October 29. The collection of the associated debris is impacting the City’s fall leaf collection program. Therefore, the City will be ending the collection of storm debris, Wednesday, December 7 and begin the leaf collection program on Thursday, December 8.

The City respectfully requests that residents deliver uncollected storm debris to the Transfer Station, Evansville Avenue, South Meriden. The transfer station is open daily from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, Fridays and Wednesdays, between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
