Suzio Holds Town Hall Meeting at Library

From State Sen. Len Suzio:

On Monday, October 24, State Senator Len Suzio will hold a Town Hall Meeting at the Meriden Public Library from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.  The event at 105 Miller Street is free and open to the public. 

Suzio will discuss the upcoming Oct. 26 legislative "Jobs Session" which will focus on ways to spur the Connecticut economy.

Suzio will talk with taxpayers and listen to their comments about state taxes and spending, transportation, public safety and a whole host of issues. 

Suzio will also bring his petition to cap the state’s gas tax for residents to sign.  The petition can be viewed and signed online by visiting www.senatorsuzio.com.

“I hope greater Meriden residents and business owners take some time on Monday evening to drop by the library,” Suzio said.  “In Hartford, I have been fighting hard to protect taxpayers.  Connecticut is broke, yet our state government continues to spend recklessly.  I look forward to seeing folks on Monday.  Please tell your friends, co-workers and neighbors as well.”

Suzio voted against the record tax hikes which took effect this summer.
