Back To School: New London 2021-22 School Calendar

Parents in New London can mark the first day of school coming later this summer.

NEW LONDON, CT— Back-to-school planning has already begun with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in New London Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in New London Public Schools is Sept. 7.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in New London.

New London Public Schools

First Day: Sept. 7

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26

Winter Break: Dec. 24-31

Spring Break: April 15-22

Last Day: June 17

The calendar for New London Public Schools is available at the district's website.

The CDC has recommended that all students and staff in K-12 schools wear masks this fall due to the highly infectious Delta variant of the coronavirus. Gov. Ned Lamont has not made a ruling on mask wearing for the state's students, but is reportedly likely to follow the federal agency's guidance.
