Berlin Parks And Rec Offers Family-Friendly Programs

BERLIN, CT - The Berlin Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for the programs below. for residents. Non-residents registration begins on Tuesday, September 4. You can register online through our Web-Trac program or in person at our office, 230 Kensington Road. You can find more information about each program on our website, www.town.berlin.ct.us or the Berlin School website, www.berlinschools.org under Community.

Fall preschool and youth programs include Learning Adventure with M.S.M.A. R.E. (Learning Adventure with Math, Science, Music, Art, Reading & Exploration) for ages 3 to 5, Exploring Dance ages 3 – 5, Dance Expressions ages 5 to 8, Painting with Peggy, K – 5th grade on Saturday, September 22 and 29 Dragon, unicorns, and dinosaur theme, Saturday, October 20 and November 17 Halloween and Thanksgiving theme, Saturday, December 1 and 8 Christmas theme.

Adult and youth programs include Kangoo Power™ Must be at least 13 years old, Power Yoga, Introduction to Yoga, Tai Chi for Osteoporosis and Fall Prevention, Basic Dog Obedience, Better Basic Dog Obedience and Kindergarten Puppy.

Family activities and special events include Pumpkin Decorating Pre-K – 5th grade, Scarecrow Festival and Monster Bash Pre-K to 5th grade.
