Bike Dispute Between Teens Leads to Meriden Stabbing: Police

A boy received injuries to his upper abdomen from the assault.

Meriden Police are investigating a stabbing that was allegedly prompted by a fight over a bike.

A teenage girl was arrested for stabbing a 17-year-old boy Monday in the area of Frary Avenue and North Colony Road, according to the Record-Journal.

The boy was stabbed in the upper abdomen and his injuries were non-life threatening, police said.
